ShrinkGard® is a highly flexible, woven sleeve constructed of polyester and polyethylene that provides superior abrasion resistance for rubber hoses and tubing applications. The product offers a shrinkage up to 60% which allows ShrinkGard to accommodate a variety of diameters and sizes. The soft construction of ShrinkGard is ideal when handling the product during installation.

Product Spotlight: ShrinkGard® 2800
ShrinkGard® 2800 is a highly flexible, woven sleeve constructed of polyester and polyethylene that provides good abrasion resistance for rubber hoses and tubing applications. The product offers a shrinkage up to 60% which allows ShrinkGard 2800 to accommodate a variety of diameters and sizes. The soft construction of ShrinkGard 2800 is ideal when handling the product during installation.
The heat-shrinkable design firmly grips to the component with a minimum shrink temperature of +80ºC and a minimum full recovery temperature of +110ºC. A treatment made on ShrinkGard 2800 keeps the ends of the sleeve stable after shrinkage. ShrinkGard 2800 can easily be cut with standard industrial cutting equipment and is used primarily in the automotive industry to protect rubber hoses.
