Therm-L-Gard® is a woven fiberglass fabric with aluminum foil laminated to its outer layer and a pressure sensitive adhesive on the inner layer. The unique multipolymer adhesive exhibits high adhesion to low surface energy plastics such as HDPE, polypropylene and gas filled polypropylene.
Therm-L-Gard provides superior protection from radiant heat for plastic components and areas where a self-adhering, thermal protection system is required. Therm-L-Gard can also be applied to metal heat shields to increase their thermal performance and slit to custom widths and lengths or die-cut to complex geometric shapes.
